This guitar has been used but is the same quality as if it was new. The guitar is in the exact same quality as it was when I bought it with exception of one small nick on the bottom. The guitar plays beautifully--great sustain, beautiful tone. The brightness of the ebony, zebra wood, and wenge contrasts the warmth of the mahogany beautifully.  This guitar has served me well, as I have taken great care of her. She is near perfect with the exception of that one small nick on the bottom side of the guitar (shown above). You don't notice it unless you look for it. I am including a hard shell case with this guitar because I hate it when you have to go buy your own after you buy a guitar. I find this guitar sounds best with some grunge to it (because of the mahogany). But don't get me wrong, these tex-mex pickups can do some work clean. Woods

I changed the wiring the Tone 2 pot to blend in the volume of the bridge pickup so that no matter what setting the 5-way switch is on, the bridge can always be added. I highly recommend doing this to whatever strat you have because almost none of my guitar buddies use the 2 tone knob ever. It makes that pot so much more useful. There are guides online how to rewire it yourself (it's super easy).
