This is a used cornet by H & A Selmer. The serial number is 36480 & I can only guess at 1970 as the number of these instruments are not listed in my book. Everything works. I had the valves out and oiled them. I pulled all three slides and oiled them. A professional trumpet playing friend of mine dropped by and he stated, "Man, this sucker blows." He also stated that it would be a great horn for a trumpet player who only occasionally needed a cornet. The original case is rough but serves to ship it in.
