Description

Olivia's Vintage would like to present this rare 1965 Baldwin model 113302 that seems to be some type of prototype or one-off guitar. It's difficult to know if all the parts are original to the guitar as most everything about the guitar is irregular for any Baldwin/Burns from this time. Most of the parts appear to be original. It has a decent playing neck with some fret buzz on the high E and toward the end of the neck. The non-adjustable neck position pickup is a bit too high, so there are some dead frets at the very end of the neck. There is a very small hair line crack running out from the screw hole of the low E tuning key. The pickguard is included, but has cracked apart keeping it from being installed on the guitar. The electronics are very interesting with a piezo pickup in the bridge. The neck pickup is nice and strong, but the piezo pickup has a very weak signal and was probably designed that way. There are nicks + dings, and other cosmetic wear. An original Baldwin hardshell case is included, but is in poor condition.
