1978 Rickenbacker 4001 Electric Bass in Mapleglo finish. All original with the original case included. Overall excellent condition for a 39 year old instrument. When I bought it originally, the neck had been repaired already from a crack (see photos) and I was assured that it was an excellent repair and wouldn't pose any issues and it hasn't. It has a bit of buckle rash on the back but nothing through the finish though there are a few small chips on the body as well. The finish has aged very nicely and it has a bit of tarnish on the hardware, too (also could use a fresh set of strings). The last time I checked this was valued well over $2,000.00 but I realize this has been repaired so that's why it's priced accordingly. Please check the photos and ask any questions prior to bidding and I will answer them in a timely manner. No international bids will be accepted so PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
