Yes, the protective film is still on the faceplate of this one.Up to 192k standard sample rates. Apogee is legendary in conversion quality. This unit uses C777 clocking used by Big Ben. Simply the best there is with unprecedented jitter attenuation which results in noticeable difference in sound quality compared to lesser converters.This unit may be connected to virtually any digital recording system. It includes AES and ADAT Optical digital outputs and this unit has the X-HD option card installed allowing connectivity to Pro-Tools.The Soft Limit feature gives an additional 4-6dB of headroom by controlling transient peaks in recording. This is an excellent feature of this product that is more transparent than the vast majority of compressor/limiters out there.I am selling two of these units.This particular unit has the well known power button issue which is currently resolved by changing the dip switch settings for always on. Digital-Link cable included.USPS estimates $40 Nashville to Los Angeles, $30 Nashville to NYC and $22 to Chicago UNINSURED. I STRONGLY SUGGEST INSURANCE!
