1991 Rickenbacker 355JL “John Lennon” Limited Edition Reissue
This was perhaps Rick’s coolest Vintage Reissue ever having the blessing from the Lennon Family to make 3 types of John’s guitars in limited #’s, they made a short scale 325 version & a pair of long scale 355 model 6 & 12-string versions, all were in the Jetglo finish having no “f” holes just like John’s original guitars, this is the longer scale 6 string type which is a far better player than its short scale counterpart, its got a set of 3 Toaster pickups, a beautiful stacked set of white pickgards w/Lennon’s cartoon drawing & signature, Kluson tuners, Rick’s adjustable bridge & a flat early 60’s type tailpiece, its factory Certificate states this is # 1493 of 2000 in total made on July 12th,1991, having slight play time, she is still exceptionally clean & comes with its original Silver Tolex hard case.
