Most have capsules that cost way under $10, cheap back electret style capsules, and as you can see this is not the case here. We saw a need for a real quality made test microphone that performs amongst others costing three or four times the price. This mic is not cheep by any means, but quality should not make you second mortgage your home. You need a mic priced right at a reasonable marginal markup, which is what we have done here. Lets face it, highly branded products can be marked up four or more times cost. We do not want to make a killing, rather a meager living.
