What makes this guitar special: It’s not every day you stumble across a set-neck Ibanez V-much less one that weighs in at less than 6 and half pounds. This thing is built to rock, with a piping hot set of DiMarzio humbuckers that will absolutely blow you away. It’s well appointed, with plenty of fancy accoutrements, with a C-shaped neck and rosewood board so comfortable you’re sure to be playing for hours. Professional setup is included, so all you have to worry about is tuning it.Cosmetic condition: This one looks to have been someone’s go to, and showcases plenty of wear consistent with age. Various scratches, dents, nicks, dings, chips, and scuffs are present, along with some buckle rash and a few areas of finish checking. The edges of the body show the most wear, with numerous visible chips along the treble side on the back. There are holes two holes drilled on the bottom of the guitar from previous strap buttons, along with visible oxidation on the hardware. The neck has also been refretted, and the electronics cover is a replacement.Body: Solid body with bound flame maple cap in cherry sunburst finish. Gold adjustable bridge and stopbar tailpiece with cream colored pickup bezels.Weight: 6 lb, 5.1 ozNeck: C-shaped set neck with bound rosewood fingerboard. Black side dots and pearl block inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Bound headstock with black overlay and gold script. Ibanez Smooth Tuners work great. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the length of the fingerboard.Electronics: Dual DiMarzio humbuckers with 3-way pickup selector switch and gold speed knobs, 2x volume, 1x tone.Case: Original hard shell case included. Case is in pretty rough shape, and the bottom panel is loose, but it still serves its purpose.
