Beautiful 1972 Los Angeles Benge 3X in near mint original condition. This horn has not seen a lot of use. I purchased it in 2001 as part of my Benge collection. I only played it in two Christmas Cantata's (I prefer a larger bore). I don't know how much use it had before I purchased it, but I don't think it could have been much. The finish on the horn is great, there is only one spot of note on the bell curve that the brass is coming through the silver - It was like that when I purchased it (see picture). I think this was probably like this when it was first made - it looks like a piece that was not plated vs. a worn area. Other than that the finish is fantastic - especially for a 45 year old horn. This horn has a serial number below 10,000 which makes it a true collectible.
