2006 Fender Deluxe American Jazz IV Bass, Barely Used, Top Condition, Must Look!

I bought this bass new in 2006 and had it set up by a professional luthier. As it turned out, I am much more attached to my P-Bass than this Jazz Bass so it has seen very little playing time. In fact, this bass has spent the last five years in it's case. Of course, I removed the two 9-volt batteries prior to setting it aside! I am the original owner. This bass looks practically as-new rather than being 11 years old! Made in the USA.Tri-color sunburstSolid alder bodyS-1 SwitchingGraphite reinforced "C" shaped maple neck2 American Jazz Bass single-coil pickupsRosewood fretboard20 frets...SUPER clean. I treated this bass like a baby. There are two tiny dings on the headstock (see photos). No other dings, scratches or wear. Normal light surface scratching on the finish due to play. Clean battery compartment. I replaced the stock strap anchors with Scheller strap locks. At the buyers request I will be more than happy to put the original strap anchors back on before shipping. Also, I will also be more than happy to set the string tension per the buyers request before shipment. Most people seem to recommend shipping at concert tuning. Others advise taking 1/2 step off the string tension. I will work with the buyer to accommodate their wishes.This bass has great sound, great feel and really looks sharp! A top quality, professional, instrument. Speaking of sound --- I handed this bass once to a vastly more accomplished bassist than myself and MARVELED at the sound and nuance that he was able to produce. I have never done this bass justice with my style of play. It desperately needs a new home!Includes original Fender molded case. You will notice on the case that there are two Agriculture Inspection stickers from the Maui Airport. I'm glad to remove these if you wish, or I will send it along as is for that World traveler ambiance. Also included are the owners manual, a truss rod adjustment tool and various other stickers and tags. Buyer to pay actual cost for shipping via FedEx ground.
