The round stick is made of dark brown iron wood and is mounted in Maillechort, with silver tinsel and french red thread lapping and dark brown lizard grip.The hatchet type head is fit with an ivory over ebony head-plate.The ebony frog  has inlaid pearl eyes. The  three piece button, is made with two  rings of Maillechort which are pinned.All parts are original.This bow is certified by Isaac Salchow..Condition: the bow is in Excellent state of preservationWeight: 61g
François Peccatte (born , 10 March 1821; died Paris, 30 October 1855) was a very talented . He is said to have been destined for greatness, but died at the age of 34 before reaching the height of his craft.
