The AR725 proudly continues the Artist legacy with all the elements intact that originally elevated the guitar to icon status.Harking back to the earliest of the original '70s Artist and Custom Agent designs from the creative mind of Jeff Hasselberger, the AR725 draws on the period’s more characteristic ornate accents, such as its intricate perloid inlaid body and fretboard inlays, curlicue style pickguard, vintage silver capped top hat knobs and gold plated hardware from headstock to heel.True to form, the AR725 features a superb mahogany symmetrical body with a carved maple top for that extra heavy “chunk” and endless sustain you’d expect of a classic 70s Ibanez Artist.
The super comfortable 3-piece Maple “AR” set-in neck incorporates a smooth heel for easy access to the highest frets, a smooth bound ebony fretboard and a vintage style bone nut that make the AR725 as enjoyable to play as it is inspiring to look at.
