Eastman AR580-CE Blue Finish Pre-Owned 2015 This Eastman AR580CE Archtop features a carved Spruce top and laminated Flamed Maple back and sides and what a player! It's a little slimmer than a traditional archtop, but it has all the volume and tone you'd want and expect. Here with a Venetian cutaway and gorgeous honeyburst finish, it's distinctly Eastman - with Maple binding throughout, a three-piece Maple neck, Ebony fingerboard and that great nitro lacquer finish they do so well. Eastman guitars and mandolins came as the result of a passion for high quality string instruments inherited from their internationally recognized fine violin line. Eastman offers musicians an opportunity to enjoy instruments produced by expert craftspeople entirely by hand using the best possible tonewoods, and time tested carving/building techniques. These instruments are hand-polished using the same techniques that violin makers have used for generations. The guitars are then sprayed with two layers of lacquer, which is then buffed back nearly to the spirit varnish beneath. "Premium tonewoods and the time honored process of meticulous hand craftsmanship form a harmonious relationship that has established Eastman as a major force in the world of archtop guitars. Today Eastman offers the widest selection of classic and contemporary archtop guitars in the industry. Most often associated with jazz, Eastman archtops are
frequently used in many other styles of music due to their beautiful sound, range and finish." - Eastwood Guitars The acoustic tone is incredibly loud and provides an archetypical archtop solid top tone. When plugged into the Carr Rambler you get a thick, creamy jazz tone.  Rich and lush with the jazz chord melody playing, while single note runs are clear and concise.  The low, light set up allows for effortless playing, and while typically used in jazz it also works nicely for fingerstyle and county blues. This instrument is in Excellent + Condition with only two small scratches on the back. Includes Hardshell Case.Features :
