This is the original M4, the predecessor of the M5, the one that gave Avalon its name it has today. Used by artist like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey or Mark Knopfler, it is the best Mic pre there is, a standard of comparison of all other brands. The DI part of it is an excellent dynamic instrument and Eric Clapton uses it with his acoustic.The M4 has a superior sound to M5 as it was built in the era when electronics were no prohibited of any chemical use. Unlike M5, M4 features a Ribbon Mic input (need a card from Avalon installed to work) and remote connector (remote sold separately) it is net superior to M5 but for some reason way cheaper.This one comes in brand new box from Avalon, with Power Supply and cables.
