Welcome to my auction for a much loved Burny / Fernandes Rock n Roll Version, a Les Paul Junior single cut copy from the late 80s and made in Japan during an historic era of guitar building. Absolute top quality workmanship from 80s Japan. All mahogany guitar as it should be. Rosewood fingerboard. This is a top quality instrument and one that you won't see too often on these shores. She plays and looks killer and rivals ANYTHING by you know who...! I've had a Custom shop LP Junior and this axe easily compares in tone and sheer enjoyment of playability and that's what guitars like these are all about. This guitar is set up to perfection by a professional guitar technician. Truss rod, bridge, intonation adjusted to give this guitar a very nice and playable medium to low action. Neck is as straight as an arrow. Frets have years left in them.
This guitar is all original apart from upgraded wiring and a new P90, pots and aged amber knobs. The guitar was fantastic when I got it but I always wanted to hotrod it as a project so I did and the results are stunning. I have hot rodded this beauty with a 50s Luxe Les Paul Junior Bumblebee pre-wired kit with RS Superpot upgrade, Art of Aging Amber Top Hat Knobs and an awsome Lindy Fralin 8% Overwound Dog Ear P90 Bridge Position Pickup.All parts from Charles Guitars.
