This customized Hoyer Triple Horn was originally the beta-prototype for the C23L production triple horn. It has since been customized with a new tunable leadpipe and a large-throated nickel silver bell w/detachable bell flare. It features nickel silver inner slides, engraved valve caps, and drilled inner caps for ease in oiling the rotors themselves. The horn is in excellent condition; compression is outstanding, all valves & slides work as designed, with no previous damage to the horn (other than minor dings from normal use). The body and bell-flare of the horn are lacquered, the leadpipe and bell-tail unlacquered. There are slight scorch marks from leadpipe and bell customization. The instrument is extremely free-blowing, has a huge sound, and was played professionally for several years. Unlike most triple horns, emptying this instrument is fast and efficient due to the placement of the water-keys. It is being sold with the standard Hoyer flight case in very good condition (see pictures), but without the horn stand, slide locks, and leather hand-grip seen in photos. There is no mouthpiece. NO RESERVE. No returns accepted – please ask questions before bidding (see photos). Zero/negative feedback bidders will be rejected. PayPal preferred. Shipping and insurance quote is for lower 48 only. Please note - due to expiring eBay sales incentives this instrument will NOT be relisted on this venue; if interested, bid now.
