This bass is brand new with all of the manufacturer warranties. There are a few VERY minor scuffs and scratches, so it is listed as B stock. Was $1403!
Darryl Jones has held down the groove for superstars such as Miles Davis, Sting, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, and Peter Gabriel. Traditional control setup includes 3 knobs: bridge volume, neck volume, and tone. The super-smooth, vintage-style ash body is enhanced with added curve to its contours and cutaways. A matching painted headstock adds even more vintage vibe. Lakland luthiers now do their fret work using Plek technology to assure optimum playability. Plek is a CAD/CAM machine with scanning capability. It was developed to perform high-speed, highly accurate fret dressing, nut and bridge slotting and shaping, and engraving work. When used by an experienced luthier, the Plek machine produces necks with fretwork and action that equal the very best handwork and does it consistently.
