The electronics consist of a traditional 3-position blade, a Master Volume control, and Master No-Load Tone control, but under the hood there's a lot more to it. The Master Volume control features Fender's signature S-1 switch, which allows you add more tonal variety with series or parallel wiring options when using both pickups.Another innovation in the American Elite Telecaster are a set of "All Short Post" tuning machines, which allows for lightning-fast, easy re-stringing as well as enhanced playability. These tuners provide an increased break angle at the nut along with increased tuning stability. Other upgrades on the American Elite Telecaster include a slick, stylish string tree, larger 7mm dot inlays, and a unique black chrome headstock logo. Comes complete with a premium American Elite hardshell case with body-hugging contours for optimum protection, nested stacking ability for easy storage and more secure transport, and TSA latches for increased security.
