Hi there. Up for sale is and priced to go is an original 1964 Fender Mustang guitar. This is the first year of production. The guitar was originally blue but at some point the paint was professionally removed.There are no sanding or swirl marks,so I guess paint stripper was used in the process. The pickup switches have been replaced but the originals are in the case, which is also the rectangular original case in great shape. The neck is classic Fender Pre-CBS. Very comfortable like a Strat. The pickup covers were removed at some point, but can be replaced for about $10. I have oiled the guitar a few times and the wood is healthy. These guitars with the original paint are going for upwards of 1500-2000. I am asking $1150 or best offer. Its a good price for a real Pre-CBS Fender guitar. The guitar plays and sounds great.
