There are a lot of limited run Les Pauls around, but this is truly one of the rarest. Only 1 of 25 in a gorgeous cognac burst.Do not mistake this for the "Gold Book" anniversary run. That is a run of 500 for each color! Not the same guitar in spec and detail to this!!! Before the Collectors Choice, this was the definitive and most accurate reissue model to date!!Even better, it's only a touch over 8lbs! But don't think this guitar doesn't have punch and grit like a lot of lightweight LP's do. This growls like a 9 pounder. But overall, the defining feature of this guitar's tone is the evenness to both bridge and neck pickup. One doesn't over power the other. I've never played another LP like it. Hence, why I've kept it longer than any guitar I've ever had.I swapped out the Gibson aluminum bridge and saddle with a cold rolled steel work of art from Callaham with long stud poles. This adds amazing bloom and sustain to the tone. Adds some weight, but given extra light body weight of this guitar, it makes it perfect.Pick guard included.
