Description
Here's my DOBRO Angelus Model 19. These were made in the USA between 1933-36 and were the Dobro entry level model at the time so no fancy appointments, but still have the look and the sound. All laminate body and has the subtler, softer, sweeter spider-bridge sound. It's in generally good condition, no cracks or breaks. It has plenty of scratches and marks and some of the paint has rubbed away around the f-holes so if you like your guitars pristine you'll be looking elsewhere. As far as I know it's all original but in the ten or so years I've had it I've never taken the cover off and looked at the cone, I don't believe in disturbing these things unless there's a problem. Spider bridge & cone as per original Dobro spec. The action is high beyond the lower frets. If, like me, you chord in the root position and play slide above it's fine but for anything else you might look at a neck reset. It's never had one or any other mods that I can see. The neck is a lovely chunky vintage 'V'. No pickup. It comes in a hard card case, probably 1950s/60s and it will be packed extremely well in a sturdy guitar box. Post is free to UK, outside by ebay global programme, and no returns outside UK.Please feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer them. I've been a buyer and seller on ebay for over fifteen years,
