PLEASE READ!This Sale is for the HEAD ONLY!! NOT THE cabinet. This is a 1963 Fender Bandmaster Head in original condition. 6G7-A circuit. I have had the head since 1997 and I had it gone through with new filter caps, tubes, capacitors and whatever else it needed at that time. I don't think I used it for more than 20 gigs, and it just sounds great. I had a new power cord installed and a real pretty BLUE jewel for the power light. I haven't used the amp in probably 12 years, but it has always been covered in my studio. In lieu of the fact that this has not been used, I would recommend basic service on this. The amp fires up and works fine but has a hum from what I believe is a capacitor that needs to be replaced. The tubes are probably fine because they don't have many hours on them. I found that I end up using Princeton reverb more frequently, so this needs to go to someone who will use it. I hate parting with it, but it is just sitting and it reminds me of a caged animal! Let's set it free. The cabinet I have can be negotiated by the buyer, but at this point, I would rather sell the cab locally because I can guarantee if I ship the cabinet, it will arrive in pieces, and we don't want that.
