Fine, very old (probably c.1790) violin from Tyrolean region with  repairer label Meinrad Arnitz in Obernussbaumen1854. Arnitz was a famous Swiss instrument repairer, who repaired a lot, but there is not even only one instrument survived stating he as a maker.Masterwork, individual model, but with strong Mittenwald influence.Violin is showing new trends of violin making in that region around 1790, models are slightly different and bigger than 18th Klotz an Stainer's -  big -  around 36.0 back length, searching for more intensive projection and fuller and darker sound. Violin has lot of  power and projection, it is very comfortable to play and it is not designed for introvert players.  It is in unbelievably good shape, one can describe it as hardly been played and have spent more of it's life safely in a case, but it is with quite recent setup and  ready to play professionally. Seller is young very talented student, winner of several competitions, so it has been tested in a front of symphonic orchestras and juries.
