This is a Berlant Series 30 Recorder (Circa 1950's) and this was the mic pre / DI input for the tape machines built then. These have the true tone of the 50's and are really cool to get that vibe in the studio of classic recordings. It was used in a commercial smoke free studio and has been fully tested.
