In 2005 a friend who is a collector and custom guitar builder made a run of right handed guitars made famous by the artist I cannot name here.  I asked if he would be interested in building me a lefty.   This is the result.   Maple neck, Alder body, vintage '70s Dimarzio PAF Humbucker, licensed Floyd Rose and a gorgeous, lightly relic'd  mirror image ( to a righty ) paint job.    I have a group of progress photos of the paint job being laid out and done.   He had a lot of work in this and it shows.   He did make a mistake by drilling the neck straplock hole for a righty, but he kind of corrected it and I left it as is.   After the frustration of building this one backasswards guitar as he called it, I gave him a break.  It is a pretty true replica built with good components and it is gorgeous.   The case is a new Anvil Tweed case purchased to ship this guitar.    This Strat has lived in a case for almost the entire time I have had it due to more guitars than space to display them.   Being a Les Paul guy, this Strat undeservedly got the short end of the stick.   As happens to all collectors eventually, the time comes to reduce the size of my collections.   I am reluctantly selling this, a few Les Pauls and 2 Dean Dave Mustaine AoD models - all Lefty of course.   Every one is unplayed and bought new by me.   Also going are a few Marshalls ( '81 JMP 2203, NiB ZW micro stack, 2 Silver Jubilee cabs and more ), a mint, unplayed 1995 Soldano Hot Rod 50+ and a 1959 Gibson Stereo Amp.  Please bear in mind that this is a downsizing move, not a fire sale.   I welcome offers, but insults will be ignored.UPS shipping is Free in the Continental US.    If you want USPS or Fed Ex, contact me.If you have any questions, please contact me and I will do the best I can to answer them.Please check out my other auctions as I get them listed.   I reserve the right to end my auctions at any time due the items being listed locally on the Omaha Nebraska Craigslist and on Reverb.com.Thank You for your interest !
