Only 100 of these guitars were ever made. They were designed to highlight the new line of Neon Guitar Strings by the "Strings by Aurora" Guitar string company at the 2012 NAMM Show in Anaheim Ca. Aurora had initially decided to sell these guitars during the show for prices ranging from $600-$900 (depending on model). But these Guitars generated such an interest by the public, that "Strings by Aurora" opted to sell them via auction on the last day of the show. Some sold for as little as $1,800.00 and one sold for just over $5,000.00. This model is 24 3/4" scale with 3 mini humbuckers, a 5-way toggle switch, tone and volume controls, and locking tuners. It has a neck-thru design, pearl binding on the body, and a red top which shows the natural wood grain beneath.
