Vintage tweed 1959 Fender Harvard amp owned by Ike Turner
Estimated price for orientation: 1 500 $
Category: Guitar Amplifiers
Class:
Description Exact Year: 1959 Brand: Fender
I have owned this amp for 16 years on stage and in the studio for harmonica. You can hear it on Ana Popovic's "Comfort For The Soul" album, Jacob Steifel's "Memphis Sessions", and Vargas Blues Bands "Texas Tango".as examples. Had a junk non original speaker that Glen Cammack of Speaker Services replaced with what I think is an Eminence P10R clone which has held up beautifully. As to the originality of the components I'm not sure what is bone stock. It sounds great as it should. I've had no work done to it and never had an issue with it.Small tear on the original grill cloth. The bottom corners of the tweed are well worn.Replacement handle. All the panel graphics read well.Formerly owned and signed by Ike Turner with COA.. This amp had a story to tell and is still telling it.Don't know if this was Cropper's amp but it's from the same neighborhood.
