So, this might look like an ordinary solid body electric guitar but don't be fooled! The Reverend Eastsider S Satin Powder Yellow features a chambered korina body. Korina is a very acoustically resonant wood. Usually found on boutique instruments. To find it on a guitar of this price is fantastic. Bolted on to the body is a maple neck. This features a Rosewood fretboard with a compound radius. Ranging from ten to fourteen inches it offers comfort at the bottom and low action at the top. Again, another surprising feature for such a keenly priced instrument. Big range of tones with push pull tone pot. This electric guitar is capable of a big range of sounds. Much more than you would normally find on an instrument of this style. This is down to the inclusion of a middle pickup and some clever switching. The three pickups are designed in house by Reverend. All three are exceptionally good as well. Every bit as good as big brand after market pickups so there is no need to mod it! It sounds mighty fine as is. The Studio control (Tone), is push pull. It gives you additional pickup combinations. It adds to the versatility of the Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider S.
