What a pair! Just purchased from the son of the original owner, 1957 Stratocaster and matching Tweed Deluxe Amplifier. These were purchased new, as a pair in Southern California in the Fall of 1957. Guitar is all original, minus two extra screw holes in the pickguard. Original finish, frets, pickups, pots, switch, pickguard, pickup covers, tremolo arm, and knobs. The only non original addition were the two holes in the pickguard.  Serial # -21144, Pots date 304715, (15th week of '57) June of 1957 neck and body. A transitional model featuring Bakelite knobs and tremelo tip, ABS Plastic pickup covers and switch tip as Fender was making the switch from Bakelite to modern polymers. The Deluxe is original minus a reproduction transformer and some changed caps. Missing the original back panels though a new pine one is included. A fantastic opportunity to buy a pair of golden era Fender's that have been together since day one. 57 Strats in particular are 'The' year to have. This one sounds and plays great, fantastic V neck and plenty of life left in the original frets.  Current price reflects the % selling fees. Open to realistic offers and trades.  Feel free to call Jake at (918) 724-7001 with any questions.
