1964 Epiphone Olympic Special
The one, the only, the Elite Stratocaster. Built in the early 80s these guitars had some appointments similar to a normal Strat as well as some appointments that catered to the rockers from the era. This 83 Elite is overall in great shape and sounds fabulous. Great playability up and down the neck. Cool Strat! Very cool player’s grade 1964 Epiphone Olympic Special in its original and worn sunburst finish. Vintage Les Paul Junior on a budget! Super lightweight slab mahogany body, wide 1-11/16th inch nut width and a chunky neck. Overall in good condition less some finish wear and checking. Pickup cavity was poorly routed for a humbucker, but is covered by a custom nitro pickguard from Lollar. Replaced tuners, possible re-fret, Schaller strap buttons and a couple extra screw holes from previously placed strap buttons. All electronics and wiring has been replaced and upgraded with a Lollar P-90. Fully setup and ready to rock, comes with a modern hard shell case.
