Estimated price for orientation: 750 $

Description

Pre-war Gretsch Synchromatic 100 with the rare and beautiful tortoise shell binding. The binding's condition is practically flawless. The guitar also has a beautiful flame on the backside maple.I believe this is all original save for (1) the binding on the pickguard which I had redone a few years ago (the pickguard itself is original); and (2) It looks like the gold B string Grover Sta-tite tuner was replaced perhaps sometime in the 50s. If so, it was carefully done as the same exact Sta-tite tuner was selected. The gold Grover Sta-tite tuners are very nice and work well. I have found one hairline crack on the side. The crack looks to be about 2-3''. It can be seen in the full photo set just under the pickguard bracket screws.I think it will need a neck set. Hardshell case, which looks original and has a broken latch.Shipping will be based on UPS calculator to actual address of purchaser based on the guitar's packaging weight and dimensions.

I wished to highlight some of the play and case wear on the back of the neck as well as more close up shots on the checking, some surface scratches on the top of the guitar and the condition of the case. Sorry that ebay has made it prohibitive to convey this information.
