Beautiful Tinted Blonde "Telemaster". More custom than Custom Shop! More love! & UK made! Details:Bareknuckle "Yardbird" pickups, USA CTS pots & knobs, USA Oak Grigsby switch & jack socket.Hand-slotted Bone nut.Kluson Deluxe tuners.NOS Mullard Tropical Fish tone cap (secret sauce! Believe us on this one - we have shot out caps from just about every make & era - the Tropical Fish just works with this guitar & these pickups! Tone that will make a grown man cry! Seriously!)Single-ply custom vintage pickguard.Vintage slot screws used throughout.Classic Fender CS compensated brass-saddle through-body bridge - intonates perfectly.Tinted Blonde "Thin Skin" nitrocellulose 2-piece American Swamp Ash body.Custom USA-made 1-piece rock maple neck: compound 12" radius & Gibson scale length so it feels more like a Gibson/Jag (easy bends, a blast to dig into!); finished with vintage amber-tint saturn nitro (Saturn just feels the BEST on necks!).Rant: If you've ever played a pre-'65 fender you'll understand the sonic/tonal, tactile, resonant, & aesthetic benefits of nitrocellulose lacquer - if you haven't, you owe it to yourself - and there just ain't no going back! That's a promise! Poly sucks! Literally! - it sucks tone, sustain and response - the timber is choked and not able to have a voice. We believe poly is the main reason it's so hard to fall in love with modern Fender guitars. They just feel and sound dead when you pick em up and play them acoustically and it's hard to get excited and feel a connection. CBS era Fender has a lot to answer for!Master-Built & set-up by Jon Dickinson of Dickinson Amps fame! (please google Jon's website as eBay doesn't allow weblinks which is a bummer!).Jon is a bonafide guitar & amp guru. He makes ridiculously boutique point-to-point valve amps for the likes of Muse (checkout their London Olympic opening ceremony performance on YouTube - you'll see Matt's Dickinson Amp in his backline) and has been repairing/setting up vintage guitars & basses for the very baddest of cats in the business for a very long time. His amazing workshop is in Crystal Palace, South London. Pop in if you're in the neighbourhood but be warned: it's like a candy shop to a diabetic! This guitar is just killer! She's a stunning head-turner, and a true revelation to play! We are genuinely pained to send her out into the world but this is a new venture for the boys: building top-shelf, gorgeous (& REALLY good value) guitars that they would DEARLY love to keep themselves....& love sometimes hurts after all.Free postage & Ships with a Fender Offset hard-case!Finally: if you have any specific set-up requests Jon will of course make it happen before shipping or you can also collect in person from the workshop in Crystal Palace & have Jon do any special tweaks while you nose about the workshop or pop downstairs to the cafe and Zac will make you one of London's best flat whites!UK buyers only cheers!
