Your are viewing a 2008 Dean ML-79 Custom in blueburst in absolutely excellent condition! (Please excuse glare from the lights on the pics) If you notice it has pearl block inlays instead of the dot inlays most have. I will have to say that this guitar has magical qualities. It is an awesome looking, playing, and sounding guitar. Very little light scratching in fact I would rate this guitar a 9 to 9.5 out of 10. No fretwear and very well preserved for a 9 year old guitar, still has plastic on back plate covers. Low action, straight neck, plays like a dream. Neck has that "Gibson" feel to me, the action seems almost the same low height all the way up the neck. It reminds me of an Explorer or V with that ultra silky smooth playability. It has a wonderful kind of PAF tone and is so fun to play. Many artists in the 80's as well as today have played these models. This one is more rare and hard to come by with the color and block inlays. If this is your thing, you won't be disappointed. Not many floating around. There is no case or gig bag with this guitar. Does not come with strap shown in pic. Braziliaburst, or Trans. Cherry Sunburst (disc. 2010), mfg. 2003-present.- similar to the ML '79 except has large block fingerboard inlays, available in Blue Burst or Silverburst finish, mfg. 2007-2010.
