Here for sale is a brand new 2017 Paoletti Wine Stradospheric. This guitar is hand made by Fabrizio Paoletti, Italian luthier and master builder, as part of his Wine Series. The Wine Series pays tribute to the region where Paoletti was born and operates (Tuscany) and its famous Chianti Wine. Fabrizio personally makes each one of these guitars with chestnut wood coming from the Chianti Wine Barrels that - for more than 150 years - belonged to his family. The body is really 150 years old and was used (when it was a barrel!) to ferment thousands of liters of Chianti red wine.If you look through the photos, you'll see that the wood has lots of character. No, it doesn't show any wear nor signs of damages - those are the unique marks left on the barrel wood. The mahogany neck/ebony fretboard combination exhibits warm yet lively tones, and is the preferred choice of Paoletti, even on their Stradospheric models. The pickups are custom made Paoletti Strat 60 and Rock II humbucker pickups, that cut through the mix nicely in a band setting. The finish is lightly oiled, with a thin layer of nitro, and plays really comfortably.
