THIS IS A HUGELY COLLECTABLE PRS CUSTOM 24 FROM 1986, THE SECOND YEAR OF PRS FACTORY GUITARS, THIS IS ONLY THE 651st GUITAR THEY EVER MADE FROM THE TINY ORIGINAL FACTORY WHEN PAUL WAS TOTALLY HANDS ON IN THE BUILD PROCESS, AND IT HAS THE T & B PICKUPS AND THE POT CODE DATES TO 1985, THIS IS IN ALL PROBABILITY A FEBRUARY 1986 GUITAR AND IT COMES WITH A NON ORIGINAL BLACK LINED CASE!
When Paul Reed Smith burst onto the guitar scene in 1985, the guitar world was set ablaze by the beauty and craftsmanship of the Annapolis Maryland built PRS. Two models were offered, one the Custom with its mahogany neck and body and gorgeous flamed maple top and the all mahogany PRS Guitar, which later became know as the Standard. Both guitars featured Rosewood fingerboards. This is an extraordinary example of PRS's second year in production and in fact this is the 651st guitar to leave the Virginia Avenue factory in Annapolis. This guitar is in well used condition for a 30 year old true vintage piece and features a lovely dark fingerboard, moon inlays,& the correct Schaller branded tuners, early T&B pickups, and a lovely vintage yellow finish. This  example is in player's condition with a large wear patch on the back which has gone through the wood, one of the knobs is cracked, but it also plays and sounds amazingly. The guitar was used extensively by a female lead guitarist in Hollywood California during the late 80's and she wore large belt buckles! COLLECT AND PAY CASH IF YOU LIKE, ANY QUESTIONS RING GEORGE 07808 782086.LOOK OUT FOR MY EBAY LISTINGS OF A VERY EARLY PRS STANDARD 1986 GUITAR AND A BRAZILIAN SINGLECUT.CHEERS GEORGE
