Vintage 1975 Martin D28 Shade Top acoustic guitar. These shape tops are fairly rare. Just had a neck reset and the bridge moved slightly and reglued to improve intonation. All original, except perhaps the bridge pins which look like a Martin pin upgrade. Bone nut and saddle, Grover tuners. The endpin is missing as the guitar once had a soundhole pickup with an endpin jack, but that is no longer installed. This is a vintage guitar but is in very good shape for its age. A few small dings on headstock from a capo and a few on the body. One small crack on bass side of front (pictured), which was sealed and cleated by the luthier when the neck was reset. A small portion of the tip of the pickguard is missing (see photos). Just strung up with Martin Marquis light strings and plays superb. Low action and a lot of saddle left. Very little fretwear noticeable. Comes with the original plush Martin hard shell case in good condition, although it is missing 1 of its 5 latches. Read my feedback and buy with confidence.
