Up for sale is a magnificent Stratocaster that pictures can't do justice to. We're offering a Brand New NOS 2015 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Masterbuilt by Greg Fessler. This guitar is a special creation for the 2015 NAMM show; take a look at that cool wood grain stripe on the top. This strat impresses with a lightweight ash body finished in a blue ice metallic. The trans stripe is a mahogany finish in lacquer. The neck is created from quarter-sawn maple and is a 60's oval, C-shape which holds an Indian rosewood fretboard of a 9.5" radius with vintage frets. The pickups are hand-wound '69 strat units. This guitar is a unique piece which was created specifically for the 2015 NAMM show, where it was displayed and auctioned. We're lucky to own it and pass it along to one of our fine customers. . With this in mind, you should know that NAMM auctions result in pricier guitars due to their workmanship and demand.This strat is one of the first two Greg Fessler guitars our store has carried and we find his work totally awesome. Take a look at the second Fessler NAMM guitar also posted for sale. They were both too nice to pass up so we wanted them both! If you are a professional musician, hobbyist or a collector, this guitar will surely please anyone who has the opportunity to pick this one up. It comes in the original OHSC, case candy and two certs, one from the Masterbuilder, the other representing the NAMM show participation. It is our belief that NAMM guitars are only going to increase in value and that early collectors will have an excellent opportunity to purchase these guitars before they get priced and valued out of range. Masterbuilder Greg Fessler came to the Fender Custom Shop in 1990, working his way up through the ranks as an apprentice. He assisted with the Robben Ford signature line of guitars, eventually becoming the sole builder of those instruments and, later, Ford’s personal builder. Fessler has built one-off Stratocaster and Telecaster models for a host of players, including Joe Bonnamasa, Jeff Healey, Hank Marvin, John Mayer, Rhonda Smith, Neil Schon and Pete Wentz, to name only a few.Fessler’s remarkable abilities as a Master Builder have earned him accolades from many Fender artists and from discerning customers worldwide. His meticulous attention to detail is exemplified in every instrument he creates, each of which is a perfect example of the intense commitment it takes to earn the title of Master Builder.
