You are looking at a sequentially matched pair of beyerdynamic M260 mic mics that have had their ribbon's replaced with the far superior RCA 77DX. (The last photo shows what an original RCA 77DX looked like). These are wonderful mics to use for drum room recording, or as a reverb trigger, or even drum overheads. (Of course you can use it on anything, as long as you are careful not to expose them to any strong wind)This is a rare opportunity to pick up a matched pair of these, and they are in AMAZING mint cosmetic condition and are working perfectly.Upgraded with brand new RCA ribbon, better than newXLR connector, no cable included.*Reconditioned by Stephen Sank with brand new RCA 77DX ribbon, freshly made from NOS RCAribbon stock, using Harry Olson's original engineering shop ribbon making tools, resulting in massively reduced distortion (virtually to zero) & a total absence of ribbon fatigue (big problem with the stock ribbon), as well as greatly improved overall tonal balance. Unless abused with beyond kickdrum SPL or extreme winds, it will sound just as good the day it's modified as it will in 30 years & beyond.
