This vibey '62 is not shy about its age and doesn't have to be: it plays and sounds remarkable. It has a thick, slab Rosewood fretboard, topping a Maple neck, coupled to an Ash body. It has two soapbar pickups that are just the right mix of articulate and smooth, of which the bridge pickup has been rewound. Its volume pot has been changed, and the board was recently and excellently refretted.
