This guitar was made by Mark Langner, a musician and guitar market in Asheville, North Carolina.  I knew Mark in college, when he was a music major and a particularly conscientious person.  So, when I heard he was making guitars, I asked him to make me one, and he made me a dandy, just as I'd asked--a big bass and brilliant treble.  This was probably fifteen years ago.  What I'm looking for in a guitar now has moved away from archtops, so I decided that rather than just warehouse this fine instrument, I'd try to find it a good home.  I'm asking a lot less for it than I paid because I want it to sell.  More than anything, I'm interested in seeing the guitar in the hands of someone who will played it regularly.  I wish I knew what all the woods are. I know the face of the guitar is spruce, and the finger boards look like ebony.  The back and front are both beautiful, as you can see.  The Grover tuners are nice too and very precise.  As you can see, the guitar's a work of art, and there's not a blemish on it.  And it sounds great.  It really projects.  I've played with a lot of other instruments, and I've never thought I should have an amplifier.  This thing will make itself heard. The hard shell case is a TKL, and it's a tank.  It'll protect the guitar.
