This is a fine quality vintage German Viola. It is not signed as a Roth but has the build quality of his 1920's with a wonderful mellow sound. (See Appraisal section in wikipedia - Ernst Heinrich Roth. There is a crack that was professionally repaired many years ago. It's apparent original chin rest and pegs are included. These are in fine condition but have been replaced. Vintage German Viola bow (re haired and in fine condition) included with the handmade case. This vintage case (12lbs) was made to fit the instrument exactly and is perfectly functional.
