Selling a very nice German bassoon from famous maker J. Poeschl in Munich.
Poeschl was known for his fine clarinets and oboes that are still sought after until now,but it is not so well known that he built good bassoons as well.
The one here is from about 1910 - 40 and comparable with a Heckel for around 4000 no.The Oktave / E Mechanic goes only up to the beginning of the soprano tenonnot until the S- Bocal, it comes with 2 original Bocals 1+2,
It is in good condition, the keypads looking good and you can play it,
but to bring into top playing condition, it will need an overhaul in the future.I believe it is something special and a good alternative to the expensive Heckel from that time. The bassoon was played professionally for a long time in an orchestra and also for chamber music.Privat listing ...............................................
