Item: SNEW3002IEMG3A Sennheiser ew300IEM-G3 for two users: includes one transmitter, two bodypack receivers, two sets of earphones. The Sennheiser ew300IEM-G3 is a true professional-level in-ear monitoring system with a menu of features that sets it apart from all competitors in its price range. The ew 300 IEM G3 is the third generation of the world’s best-selling wireless monitoring system. This generation offers several important impovements and upgrades: adaptive-diversity reception, switchable Hi Boost, and a multi-level switchable limiter are now standard. In any wireless system, diversity reception is the solution to the dreaded dropout. Because of their small size, bodypack receivers such as those found in IEM (in-ear monitoring) systems typically don't offer diversity reception. The Sennheiser EK300IEM G3 bodypack receiver cleverly uses the earphone cable as a second antenna, thus preventing dropouts. A very important feature offered by the ew300 IEM G3 systems is what is called "Focus Mode". Focus Mode is a dual mono mode that enables each user to pan their receiver between the signals of each input to the transmitter. For example, one musician may prefer more vocals (input #1) whereas another musician may prefer more of the music mix (input #2). The Focus Mode also offers the ability to get two distinct mixes from one transmitter. By setting up one complete mix (your console's AUX 1 for example) at transmitter input #1, and a second mix (say, AUX2) into transmitter input #2, each musician can pan hard left or hard right on their receiver to choose which mix they want to receive. That mix is delivered, of course, to both ears at equal volume. Other pro features include: pass-through outputs on the transmitter allowing for easy splitting of the input signal to a second transmitter or any other device. The transmitter also has a 5-band EQ built in to further help in personalizing the sound. Also, the entire system can be monitored and remotely controlled with Sennheiser’s “Wireless Systems Manager” software due to the built-in Ethernet port on the stereo transmitter.
