1998 Takamine Limited Edition acoustic/electric in great condition!The rare abalone and pearl "sun and moon" model was limited to 2000Made by the best of the best craftsmen during Takamine's best years.This 19 year old solid top has a beautiful aged deep mellow vintage tone.When you plug it in,it sounds even better.Nice crisp,deep,full bodied balanced sound with beautiful natural ambiance and rich sustain.The guitar has just been setup with new .12 gauge D'Addario strings and has great action with no string of fret buzz. This guitar has not been played much over the years and has about 15% fret wear on only the first 3 frets. There are about 5 little dings hear and there,one above the sound hole and one on the white binding with a little bit of a finish crack as shown in the pics. Overall this guitar is in excellent condition with no issues. The electronics are clean and function perfect. The truss rod moves easily and there is a lot of fret life left for decades more of playing pleasure on this elegant handcrafted instrument. Comes with new Takamine NEXC hardshell case. Solid spruce top with Sun & Moon rossete motif set in rare woods and Abalone. Phases of the Moon inlay along the guitar neck. Beautiful Rio Grande Palisandro back and sides with gorgeous high gloss finish.
