I am selling my Prophet that I bought new in 82 and played throughout the 80s and 90s. Everything works great although a few of the lower keys need to be played a few times for the contacts to kick in, after that, no issues. Played it at a 3 hour reunion gig this April and it worked great. SN 1277Comes with original floor pedal (works), manual, stock Prophet 600 sound program cassette tape,
Deep Magic sound program cassette tape, custom acrylic sides, original wood sides, peace sticker, non original power cord. It has a repaired/glued white key. All the functions work.Serviced 2 years ago at VanSickle Audio, Columbia, Mo.
Checked it, cleaning the key contact membranes and replacing a voice chip and battery.
The volume pot was replaced back in the 80s due to dead spots.
VanSickle said it worked fine although it was not a stock replacement and is a non-linear pot.
Whether or not to replace the volume pot would be your decision going forward.
There are no modifications other than the custom acrylic sides and the volume pot.
It was gigged out, is not a studio piece, so keep that in mind please.
