Roland HandSonic HPD-15 Hand Percussion Controller/Sound ModuleThe Roland HPD-15 HandSonic is one of the best hand percussion controllers out there (in my view). The pads are very responsive, velocity sensitive. There are over 500 percussion sounds built in. I’ve found them to be quite useful. However, the main power of this device for me, is its usefulness as a MIDI percussion controller. I find this controller more natural and easy to play than some more recent devices such as Maschine (although obviously not with the powerful software integration). There are quick (“EZ Edit”) editing functions as well as deep editing functions for the sounds and built in effects. Basic rhythms are built in to the presets for accompaniment/jamming/practice. Performances can be recorded on-board with the pattern sequencer.Features Include:

-10-inch rubber pad with 15 parts for triggering up to 15 sounds simultaneously
-Built-in pressure sensor allows for realistic muting and pitch control of sounds
-Main pad supports Positional Sensing for realistic timbre changes depending on area of pad hit
-Built-in sequencer with 300 percussion and drum sounds from around the world
-Onboard effects include reverb and multi-effects processors
-Realtime control via D-Beam Controller, dual ribbon controllers, three control knobs
-MIDI In/Out plus dual-trigger input and hi-hat control jackAlso included is the Roland PDS-15 Pad Stand with the HandSonic. This is a very sturdy, all chrome, adjustable, tri-leg stand. The pad stand sells for about $150 new. It’s in perfect condition and will be shipped in the original box with the “Original Manual” pamphlet. I’m also including an extra stand holder that attaches to the bottom of the HandSonic and holds the unit firmly in place on the stand. The Handsonic and accessories will be shipped in a large, padded, heavy duty Rok Sak bag; very useful for transportation and storage. The HandSonic is in excellent condition overall. Unit has a few very minor blemishes around the edges (I’ve tried to show the blemishes in the pictures). The pads are in excellent condition (never used with sticks). Everything completely functional; all sounds, patches, groups, left and right ribbons, knobs, buttons, D-Beam, etc., all 100% functional. Factory User Manual included as well as supplemental material such as Roland’s TurboStart Guide, extensive instrument list, Effect Type/Preset patch list, Demo Song /Preset Pattern List, patch editing tips, performance notes, etc. Third party power supply included that has worked fine for years. All items will be professionally packed and securely shipped. The package will be fairly heavy (the stand adds a bit of weight), so shipping will be approximately $106.00.Although I have checked the HandSonic out and can specifically state that it is in excellent condition both cosmetically and electronically (works 100%), it is being sold as is.
