Item Description:
Neck: MapleFinger Board: Jacaranda
It is a model crowned with the name of "BACON" company which was put under umbrella in the 1940s, the base is the same spec model as electromatic.Top is Spruce, Back & Side is Maple, Maple Neck, Fingerboard & Bridge Hakaranda, Body Size is 16 inch, Pickup is mounted with 2 existing Dyna Sonic. Most of the parts have been exchanged and all pickups, pick guards, control knobs, tailpieces, pegs, strap pins, jack replacement, pots are replaced with CTS, the condenser is orange drop. Moreover, there was collapse of Gretc's unique binding, neck binding is exchanged, frets are also exchanged.
The neck heel has a strap pin attached.Scratches and dents corresponding to the age are seen in the body, peeling of paint by the performance can be confirmed on the back of the neck. The inner label affixed inside the body is peeling off and the serial number is unknown, but it seems to be from the whole atmosphere from the 50's.Most parts are exchanged, there are scratches and dents corresponding to the age, but it is set up easy to play without cracking the body etc.Raw sound is a good dry box sound, pickups are exchanged, but on the rear it sounds crisp and dry. There is sweetness at the front that does not blur the outline, it sounds with a warm tone.I think that it is also good to show different insistence for specs other than headstocks as for electromatic. Moreover, it is a very unusual instrument that I rarely see in the country.
Price of this guitar is very cheap compared to the regular Gretsh price, this price will be preferable for you.
