A premium take on a classic Strat. The American Select series features high quality components wed to upscale appointments. This Tele is no exception. The Premium body is made of Mahogany with a gorgeous AAA+ Quily maple top. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a compound 9.5-14” radius Rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets. The neck is a Heavily figured birdseye. Triple fender Select single coils deliver trademark Strat tone. An American Standard 6 saddle bridge teams with Fender Locking tuners for rock solid performance. The finish is a gorgeous Honey-Burst stain lacquer. An amazing piece of work!This Strat plays and sounds good. The modern C shaped neck is straight and the action is fine. The pickups coupled with the Mahogany body make for a lively, full tone. This is a nice example in Near Mint condition. A couple of very minor impressions to the side bout and a few minor signs of lacquer bubbling. Nevertheless, she looks Very Clean, with the cellophane still intact on the backplate, Virtually no Play-wear. Comes in a hard-shell case with a pile of case candy. This is an excellent Strat with some gorgeous appointments Custom Shop quality without paying Custom Shop price. Superior built instrument; Compound radius neck 9.5" - 14" is a triumph for Fender, The Mahogany body adds sustain throughout the body whilst the Select Pickups (which are matched/voiced) deliver superior tonal richness. This Select Guitar feels so right and it not too Heavy at 8lbs. Superb case by G&G USA.
