This is one exceptional vintage guitar. A TRUE one owner, closet classic.1966 Fender Jaguar, Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock!- COLLECTOR condition. She was stored in case in a closet for 40+ years. - The color is GORGEOUS! The lacquer finish is still incredibly shiny. - Only a few early signs of natural finish checking along with a couple TINY knicks/ bump marks. Almost 100% flawless! - NO forearrm rash- NO buckle rash- Original mute- More rare Pearl dot fretboard design- The neck has never even been removed from the guitar. Verified by appraisal. .... But wait, it gets better. This vintage beauty comes with the original case from 1966 with a number of vintage goodies; - Original shows some expected signs of wear in the appropriate places.- Still has the original leather lift tab to open the closed compartment. - Carpet is in great condition... completely stain free and very plush still. - Case is, of course, fully functional! Snaps open with authority!!!- The case comes with the original case key!- The original allen wrench and even the original SILICA GEL PACKET were still in the case!!!- And on top of all of this, the original Fender guitar strap purchased with the guitar in 66 was in the case as well, and is also a part of the package.
