The Sensei HB FM Flame Maple Tobacco Burst has been changed to a 3-Tone Burst for 2017. Another upgrade for 2017 is the new Boneite nut which offers the tonal transfer of taditional bone whist retaining the self lubrication of a graphite nut. The flame maple top has been fitted to a solid korina body which is not that common to find on an electric guitar at this price. Normally exclusive to the upper end of the market. It helps give the Reverend Sensei HB a lovely, harmonically rich sound. A three piece korina neck includes a Rosewood fretboard with a twelve inch radius. The scale length stays true to the classic set neck design. The twenty four and three quarter inch scale is compact and comfortable for many. Solid body electric guitar with exceptionally good hardware at this price point. Finished and built to a very high standard you also get some pretty neat hardware. The pickups on the Reverend Sensei HB 3-Tone Burst Flame Maple are vintage PAF style. The bridge is a little bit higher output than a classic PAF. The neck is less so and perfect for lush cleans. The pickups deliver some great rock tones and more. Especially when combined with with the Bass contour knob. This is an extra control that allows you dial out certain bass frequencies. Great for choppy rhythm parts.The Reverend Sensei HB also has a set of Pinlock tuners. These are locking machine heads. Designed for quickly re-stringing your guitar. They also make the tuning more stable. The Tunomatic bridge is a solid bit of kit too. This is an excellent solid body electric guitar. It punches way above its weight and will happily take on and beat guitars twice the price.
